Hydrogen Fuel Concept Cars

Obviously on of the biggest hindrances in Hydrogen being incorporated into passenger vehicles is in its storage. Whether a metal hydride is used or pure liquid hydrogen, every phase presents its own problems. This is why large car manufactures such as GM, and individual brands like BMW have been working on safe, compact storage designs for the hydrogen energy. The concept cars they have drawn up either contain a tank for the hydrogen fuel within the car, or it is fully integrated into the chassis of the car. It is important to realize that when solving problems such as future fuels that although the chemistry of the process is extremely important, that the practical engineering and integration of the ideas cane be just as difficult to tackle.
