Free Lectures Relating to Topics from Class!

The San Diego History Museum has a lecture series entitled, "Global Climate Change: Perspectives and Solutions", which are free to the public! The three remaining lectures are about clean energy, air pollution and human health, and global warming. Along with the free lectures, the AAAS had a meeting in San Francisco where a lot of the topics related to global warming, energy,impacts on the environment, ect. So keep a look out for the publication of these research articles in Science or Nature. THe other interesting fact from the conference was a study was done which showed the poor in the San Francisco Bay area are at a higher risk of getting cancer and other health diseases becuase of the proximity they live from factories, powerplants, ets.
